If you're ever troubled by insects during the summer, or are going away camping, insect repel gel is a great option.

This blend is much gentler than traditional repellents and is made from essential oils that insects avoid. The base is soothing aloe vera gel which is perfect for warm weather. You can also use aloe vera to minimise irritation from bites and sunburn.

The main ingredient in the insect repel gel is Khakibos, or Tagetes. This essential oil has been used for centuries across Africa to repel mosquitoes.

Apply the repel gel with your fingers. It's gentle enough to use on your face and body, but avoid contact with your eyes. Reapply it as necessary.

This product is handmade by Charmaine in Wales and comes in a 60ml glass jar with an aluminium lid.
