Our dark chocolate with pink Himalayan salt comes entirely plastic free and we'll post it to you in a recycled kraft paper pouch or in our recycled cardboard mailer boxes with sage green tissue paper if it's part of a larger order.
Raw Halo chocolate also makes a sweet gift, either added as a touch of colour to a bigger gift, or on it's own as a token to remind someone that you're thinking of them. You can always write a message in your 'order notes' and we'll handwrite it in your parcel for you.

Raw Halo sources their ingredients from small, organic farms that trade for a fair price and treat their local communities well. They then make their chocolate in partnership with a chocolate factory run by a social enterprise that helps the people working there reach their full potential.
Raw Halo chocolate is entirely plastic free. Additionally, Raw Halo plants a tree with One Tree Planted for every 50 bars sold (on top of that we donate 1% of our sales to environmental charities too!)
Why I love the Raw Halo dark chocolate with pink Himalayan salt
When you're trying to reduce the amount of sugar you eat, dark chocolate is your friend. Lately, I've learnt to savour it and let it melt in my mouth to experience all the flavours. With single-origin cacao, it's even better.
Salt plays an interesting role in this bar as it gives a hint of sweetness. This is probably in its contrast to the sweetness of the chocolate itself. As with lots of food, adding a little salt to chocolate can help you appreciate the flavours that are already there.

Raw Halo chocolate isn't yet suitable for nut or peanut allergy sufferers because of the factory where it's made.

Meet Raw Halo
Raw Halo began in 2014, 2 years after Meg began looking for a chocolate bar with less sugar and simple ingredients, that still would taste delicious. She ended up making her own with a simple blend of organic cacao and coconut sugar. Her family loved them and encouraged her to make small batches from her home kitchen. Since then, Raw Halo has grown and is still run by Meg and her husband Jonathan in London.
