If you'd like to reduce plastic waste in your bathroom, toothpaste tablets are a brilliant switch. They're easy to use and still contain fluoride according to dentist recommendations.

To use your tablets, simply put one in your mouth and bite it gently so it breaks down. Brush with a wet toothbrush as you would normally.

Choose from a one-month supply in a refillable tin or a two-month compostable refill pack of 125 tablets. Each tablet contains 1450ppm of fluoride which is the same as any regular toothpaste.

To help keep your toothpaste tablets clean and fresh, I recommend always keeping the packet sealed. This is especially good if you shower or bathe in the same room as you brush your teeth. Toothpaste tablets are best kept inside an airtight jar in small quantities (they're fine to use anytime, but go a bit softer in a humid atmosphere).
