These vegan wax food wraps are a great alternative to cling film. Use them to protect food and mould them into place using just the heat of your hands.
Our wax wraps are vegan friendly and made from organic cotton, candelilla wax, jojoba oil and tree resin. They have lots of uses to discover. I find wax wraps useful for covering bowls, protecting vegetables in the fridge and wrapping sandwiches. A benefit of using wax wraps in place of plastic is that they're breathable so your food won't get soggy inside - which is especially useful when storing salad leaves!
Each pack contains a small (8" x 8") and medium (10" x 10") wax wrap.
Keep your vegan wax food wraps clean by rinsing them regularly with cold, soapy water. Don't heat it or the wax will melt! If you have any old wax wraps that are losing their stick and need refreshing, a DIY method is to place your wrap on some baking paper and scatter on some candelilla wax drops or a grated local beeswax. Place baking paper on top and iron. Note this is very satisfying, but can also be very messy!
Our vegan wax food wraps are handmade for us by Julie in Caerphilly.
