Imagine traipsing down a blustery mountainside into the shelter of weather-worn evergreens. I created our pine tree scented candle, Tree Line, to capture the peacefulness of wandering tracks through sloping forests so you can experience it in your home. Our aromatherapy candle is entirely natural, hand-poured with organic essential oils.
You can light our Tree Line candle whenever you want to recreate that uplifted yet peaceful feeling of a day spent outdoors. With Scots pine and eucalyptus, you can also use this scent to give a fresh, clean feeling to your home.
Tree Line comes from the point where trees begin to grow on a mountainside. If you're looking for a Christmas tree candle, this is it, but we also love the scent of evergreen forests, pine and cedar, all year round.
Tree Line scent
- Top Note: Eucalyptus
- Middle Notes: Scots pine, cypress, juniper berry, lavender and nutmeg

When you light our pine tree scented candle, you'll first notice fresh, sweet top notes of eucalyptus. The scent then develops into a heart of woodsy Scots pine, distilled from organic pine needles. We've balanced it with soothing cypress and juniper berry with a touch of sweet lavender.
Finally, as the candle burns down, you'll smell its base of Atlas cedarwood, distilled in Morocco's Atlas and Rif mountains. We've added a touch of nutmeg for warmth and a hint of cosiness to come.
Organic aromatherapy oils in our pine tree scented candle
When we inhale essential oils, they've been shown to help our minds and bodies relax, feel calm, well and sometimes energised. Here are the essential oils I've blended in our Tree Line candle:
Eucalyptus - A fresh, clean scent that's been shown to clear our minds and sometimes help us breathe more easily
Scots pine - An energising and uplifting scent that contains phytoncides which have been shown to help us sleep well
Cypress - An earthy, calming wood scent known to reduce feelings of tiredness and stress
Juniper berry - A crisp, sweet wood scent that's been shown to help us sleep well
Lavender - A well-known scent that calms us, soothing stress and supporting restful sleep
Cedarwood - A soothing, woodsy scent that helps us feel calm
Nutmeg - A touch of warm spice that can lift our mood and perhaps even help our memory
Sustainability
We make our pine tree scented candle with coconut and European rapeseed wax which is the most sustainable vegan wax we've found. The coconut wax comes from family farms in Indonesia and the Philippines. Choosing family farms is a better option to avoid deforestation. Our growers also train in sustainable coconut farming practices to ensure no harm to existing forests.
We hand-pour our candles in our workshop in Cardiff, using rose gold tins that are infinitely recyclable and partially made of recycled materials.
Tree Line is one of our first organic essential oil candles. We chose organic essential oils to support farmers growing with care for nature and the soil. Essential oils still use a lot of plant matter compared to fragrance oils, which is why we offer both.
And, because we really think this... If you have an aromatherapy candle, the most sustainable way to enjoy it is by simply being present. Savour the scent and all the natural materials and care that have gone into making and growing it.

Candle care
To make the most of your candle, allow the wax to form an even melt pool before blowing the flame out. If there's a little wax around the edges, don't worry. It usually melts down in the final burn. Don't leave your candle burning for longer than 4 hours. To keep it clean, trim your wick to about 5mm each time you light it. You can use your candle to set aside a space in your home (however small) to relax in, reflect or mark a transition in your day.
How we choose fragrance
We make our candles with either fragrance oils with no parabens or phthalates, or organic essential oils.
Fragrance oils are lab made with often nature identical compounds. They have a greater hot throw and can minimise the land needed to grow natural materials.
Organic essential oils are grown in a way that respects nature and the soil. Their scent is more gentle and may have aromatherapy benefits.
We make both so you can choose the scents that are right for you and fit with your values.
