Find balance with our Heliotrope and Lavender Coconut Candle. With a heart of marzipan-like heliotrope, this scent can be both calming and sweet, sensual and yet grounded in earth notes. We've crafted this candle with care for the environment.
Imagine lying on the grass in a garden, looking up at fluffy white clouds. It's how I'd describe the scent of our Heliotrope and Lavender Coconut Candle, which opens with herbal lavender and a touch of cinnamon.
Heliotrope forms this candle's heart, at once like vanilla, almonds, a dusting of icing sugar... It's balanced with resinous and earthy myrrh, cypriol and guaiac wood. Eventually, you'll smell base notes grounded in earthy moss, warming amber and sweet vanilla, tonka and benzoin.
For our Heliotrope and Lavender coconut candle, we've chosen a base of coconut and rapeseed wax, the best sustainable and vegan option we've found. Our supplier sources the rapeseed from European farms, while our coconuts come from family farms in the Philippines and Indonesia. The farmers have access to training in sustainable coconut farming practices. For example, growers cannot cut down forest to plant coconut trees.
Our Heliotrope and Lavender Coconut Candles contain no parabens or phthalates and are vegan friendly.
We pour each of our candles by hand in our workshop in Cardiff. In addition, you'll find illustrated heliotrope and lavender blooms decorating our tins.
For a twist on lavender, an enveloping hug and a touch of indulgence for your everyday, our Heliotrope and Lavender Coconut Candle is a beautiful choice to light.

Candle care
To make the most of your candle, allow the wax to form an even melt pool before blowing the flame out. If there's a little wax around the edges, don't worry. It usually melts down in the final burn. Don't leave your candle burning for longer than 4 hours. To keep it clean, trim your wick to about 5mm each time you light it. You can use your candle to set aside a space in your home (however small) to relax in, reflect or mark a transition in your day.
How we choose fragrance
We make our candles with either fragrance oils with no parabens or phthalates, or organic essential oils.
Fragrance oils are lab made with often nature identical compounds. They have a greater hot throw and can minimise the land needed to grow natural materials.
Organic essential oils are grown in a way that respects nature and the soil. Their scent is more gentle and may have aromatherapy benefits.
We make both so you can choose the scents that are right for you and fit with your values.
