• Coconut wax candle - Choose from our scents, whether it's jasmine & cedarwood or lavender & heliotrope, all hand-poured by us in Cardiff.

Packaging

We wanted to make our gift box extra special, so we'll pack it in a 2 piece gift box made from recycled materials. This is decorated with our special paper tape that took Alice 2 days and lots of tea to illustrate and shows the seasons. We've printed it on FSC-certified paper with soy-based inks.

And we don't stop there. We've chosen our favourite multi-coloured pastel concertina paper to protect your gifts inside, also made from recycled materials.

We're keeping in mind you might want to send your birthday box direct if you can't be there on the day, so we'll write a free handwritten message inside if you want us to. Just write it in your 'order notes' at checkout. We'll wrap your birthday box in reused or recycled brown paper to keep it safe in the post.

And of course, if you want your birthday box to be even more extra, you can choose gift wrap at checkout. We wrap all our gifts carefully in recycled floral paper with a linen ribbon. No plastic in sight!

Sustainability

We've gone to a lot of effort to make our birthday gift box sustainable, not just in its packaging. We named our serum gets its name 'Think Again' because it's full of upcycled ingredients that help to reduce waste including blueberries, raspberries, fermented grains from gin brewing, olives, apricot stones and by-products from essential oil distillation.

We've chosen coconut and rapeseed wax as the base for our candles because it's the most sustainable vegan option we can find. The rapeseed is from European farms and the coconut is from family farms in the Philippines and Indonesia. Sourcing from family farms helps to avoid deforestation and they're trained in sustainable growing practices too.

Lastly, we're 1% for the Planet certified, meaning 1% of your birthday box goes to environmental charities. Our Think Again Facial Serum is Leaping Bunny approved.

Why I love our birthday box

Well, I made it all by hand! But really, I love our birthday box because it includes two of our very best products. We chose our serum because it's easy to add into any skincare routine (between cleansing and moisturising) and a candle because it'll make your parcel smell special and is a treat to light afterwards.
