- Base Notes: Patchouli, Vanilla, Tonka, Musk
Light this candle and you'll first smell top notes of ripe plum, cassis, zesty bergamot and orange, enveloped in delicate rose. Then comes a heart of dark cherries, dried fruit and warming spices. Finally, you'll be left with the lingering scent of sweet and earthy patchouli, smooth musk, vanilla, and spicy, praline-like tonka bean.
We've chosen a sustainable and vegan base for our Rose and Plum Candle, a blend of coconut and European rapeseed wax. For example, our supplier sources the coconuts from family farms in the Philippines and Indonesia. The growers there train in sustainable coconut farming practices in order to ensure no harm to existing forests.
Light our Rose and Plum Candle for celebrations, a cosy nook, or as a small pleasure on a stressful day. It's a scent that reminds me of evenings in in the garden, delicious ingredients, fruit on the table, mulled spices and rose petals.

Candle care
To make the most of your candle, allow the wax to form an even melt pool before blowing the flame out. If there's a little wax around the edges, don't worry. It usually melts down in the final burn. Don't leave your candle burning for longer than 4 hours. To keep it clean, trim your wick to about 5mm each time you light it. You can use your candle to set aside a space in your home (however small) to relax in, reflect or mark a transition in your day.
How we choose fragrance
We make our candles with either fragrance oils with no parabens or phthalates, or organic essential oils.
Fragrance oils are lab made with often nature identical compounds. They have a greater hot throw and can minimise the land needed to grow natural materials.
Organic essential oils are grown in a way that respects nature and the soil. Their scent is more gentle and may have aromatherapy benefits.
We make both so you can choose the scents that are right for you and fit with your values.
