Tree Line Candle
Inspired my wandering tracks through sheltered mountain forests. This scent is a blend of fresh, woodsy Scots pine, eucalyptus, juniper berry and cedarwood.
Ginger Cookies Candle
Ginger Cookies envelopes your home in the warm, nostalgic scent of ginger, sweet orange and cinnamon spice with comforting notes for long evenings inside.
Packaging
Our winter candle set can come in our usual mailer packaging. We can also pack it as a gift in our 2 piece box made from recycled materials. This comes decorated with our paper tape. We illustrated this to show the seasons with lots of love and fuelled by many cups of tea! It's printed on FSC-certified paper with soy inks.
If you choose the gift box, we'll fill it with multi-coloured pastel concertina paper to protect your candles. It's also helpfully made from recycled materials.
If you'd like to send your winter candle set directly as a gift, we can write a free handwritten message inside. Just write this in your 'order notes' at checkout. We'll wrap your winter candle set in reused or recycled brown paper to help keep it safe from everything the post throws at it!
You can also choose gift wrap at checkout to send the best kind of post on a frosty morning. We wrap our gifts in recycled floral paper with a linen ribbon and no plastic at all.
Sustainability
We've taken care to make our winter candle set as eco-friendly as possible. We've chosen organic essential oils because they support farming in harmony with nature and the soil.
We use coconut and rapeseed wax as the base for our candles because it's the most sustainable vegan option we can find. The rapeseed is from European farms and the coconut is from family farms in the Philippines and Indonesia. Sourcing from family farms helps to avoid deforestation and they're trained in sustainable growing practices too.
Lastly, we're 1% for the Planet certified, meaning 1% of your winter candle set goes to environmental charities.
Why I love our winter candle set
I loved the challenge of capturing the scents and memories that make the -ber months feel special. I'll light my candles to help my be intentional about how I feel even as sunset gets earlier. These are cosy scents I'll come back to time and again.

Candle care
To make the most of your candle, allow the wax to form an even melt pool before blowing the flame out. If there's a little wax around the edges, don't worry. It usually melts down in the final burn. Don't leave your candle burning for longer than 4 hours. To keep it clean, trim your wick to about 5mm each time you light it. You can use your candle to set aside a space in your home (however small) to relax in, reflect or mark a transition in your day.
How we choose fragrance
We make our candles with either fragrance oils with no parabens or phthalates, or organic essential oils.
Fragrance oils are lab made with often nature identical compounds. They have a greater hot throw and can minimise the land needed to grow natural materials.
Organic essential oils are grown in a way that respects nature and the soil. Their scent is more gentle and may have aromatherapy benefits.
We make both so you can choose the scents that are right for you and fit with your values.
